Abstract

The research will be centered on the relationship between the food consumption and the BMI of adolescents from selected municipalities in Cavite. The independent variable is the food consumption. The dependent variable is the BMI and will be computed using the height and weight of the respondents. The researchers will not be conducting any experiment. The gathering of information will be done in a span of six weeks. The study will be about the food consumption of respondents ages 10-19 years old, and their BMI, as well as their sex, economic status, and locale. The research will not be including the physical activities, amount of food consumption, emotional and mental wellness, supplements, medication, and vitamins, if there are any, of the respondents.
