Abstract

The study will focus on the effects of awareness level of the people and the environmental factors in the chosen place of study to the occurrence of dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue fever. The research will be conducted to the residents of the chosen barangay in City of Dasmariñas, Cavite. The research will only focus on determining the factors that affect Dengue incidents in the area. This covers the environmental factors and the awareness level of the patients towards preventing the spread of the Dengue fever. The researchers will limit its respondents to the age of 18 and above as 18 years old is the age of majority as stated in the article written by the Center for Parent Information & Resources (2017). In case a minor wish to partake in the study, the researchers will be giving out informed consent. the researchers will also acquire 30 respondents as advised by their statistician. The research includes obtaining other necessary data that may be beneficial to the readers. Personal information of the victims will be collected solely for the demographics of the respondents and if the victim is minor or underage, the consent of the parent/guardian will be asked if they would allow their child to take part in the research or not. This research would only involve selected citizens that are living within the boundaries of the chosen barangay in the City of Dasmariñas, Cavite to be part of the respondents. The collecting of data will start from March to April in the year 2020.
