Abstract

The study used descriptive method. Respondents were the total population comprised of 41 licensed Radiologic Technologists from University of the Philippines Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) selected using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using an adapted questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage and Pearson’s r. The study concluded that, 1) The respondents were all aware to a very high extent in terms of the policies on quality assurance program; 2) There was an excellent level of implementation of quality assurance program at UP-PGH. And with regards to the level of implementation of the respondent’s quality of control program and to it’s different dimensions such as image quality, film analysis, darkroom quality control and quality control of x-ray equipment it was concluded that the radiology department of UP-PGH excellently implemented the aforementioned program; 3) There was a moderate correlation between the level of awareness and the level of implementation of the respondents to quality assurance and quality control program at UP-PGH.
