Abstract

This study used the descriptive design. The study involves 200 respondents residing in Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite. The sampling technique that was used is purposive sampling.The research instrument used is a self-made questionnaire. The statistical tools employed in the study were frequency distribution and percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and f-test or ANOVA. The following conclusions were drawn: 1) Majority of the respondents of Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite are female, 19 to 40 years old, high school graduates, married, have one (1) to three (3) children, and have a monthly income of P10,000 and below; 2) The respondents of Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite strongly agree that personal factors greatly influence their utilization of the health service in the health centers in Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite but they only agree that the service-related factors influence their utilization of the health services in the health centers in Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite; 3) Male and female respondents of Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite considered the same personal, service related and overall factors in the utilization of the health services offered by the health centers in the area; 4) The respondents of Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite from different age groups considered the same personal, service-related and overall factors in the utilization of the health services offered by the health centers in the area; 5) The respondents of Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite with different educational attainment considered the same service-related factors in the utilization of the health services offered by the health centers in the area but respondents who are elementary undergraduates have higher consideration of the personal and overall factor in the utilization of the health services offered by the health centers in the area; 6) The respondents of Poblacion, Imus, I, Cavite with different civil status considered the same personal, service-related and overall factors in the utilization of the health services offered by the health centers in the area; 7) The respondents of Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite with different number of children considered the same personal, service-related and overall factors in the utilization of the health services offered by the health centers in the area; 8) The respondents of Poblacion, Imus I, Cavite with different monthly incomes considered the same personal, service-related and overall factors in the utilization of the health services offered by the health centers in the area.
