Abstract

This study utilized a quantitative descriptive type of research design and a purposive sampling technique. The respondents were chosen based on the following criteria a) women aged 17 and above; b) has two (2) or more children that has availed of the enlisted maternal and child health services; c) coherent and able to write; d) willing to participate in the study. A self-made survey by the researchers based on the existing Maternal and Child Health Services of the rural health unit was used in the study to determine the client’s level of satisfaction. The statistical treatments employed were percentage, mean, and ANOVA or f-test. The study concluded that, 1) Most respondents consist of clients who belong to the 26-30 years old group, have monthly family income of P5,000-P9,999 and had reached high school level; 2) The clients in Imus I, Cavite were satisfied with the implementation of maternal and child health services in their community; 3) The client’s level of satisfaction with regards to the maternal and child health services are not affected by the age and educational attainment. However, the monthly family income affects the client’s level of satisfaction with regards to the maternal and child health services.
